Simply Stated, "Evening Shadow" is the nicest Grey female we have produced! Apparently, we are not the only ones who see it that way. Six Blue Ribbons and Four Color Championships on the show circuit seems to echo our delight. This medium framed, solid boned girl has excellent conformation. Her fiber is uniform and fine, has good staple and excellent brightness. With beautiful, bundling defined lock structure, her fleece exhibits a high frequency crimp style with medium amplitude. Now, it’s nice to have nice fleece, but it’s even nicer to have LOTS of it. When we say Evening Shadow is dense, well you really need to get your hands on her. Feeling is believing! A beautiful Maroon!
When we covered Juliet with our Six Time Champion, Mathias, we were hoping to get a similar result to the prior year when she produced a 17 micron gorgeous medium fawn duplicate of herself. We were a little surprised when she delivered a maroon colored, densely fleeced girl with amazing zipper crimp. "A To Die For Personality," (she'd love to come in the house with us) and all the best of her champion sire's traits, she's a tremendous package. "Hot Scot Daughter!"
A character on so many levels - Chanson is constantly keeping us in stitches. Most days when fed her grain she has to lie down to eat it. A "Hot Scot" daughter, she is extremely balanced and correct and posts up at every opportunity. Spectacular Multiple Color Champion! Lot 4 at the AOBA National 2009 Auction!
Symphony is the kind of alpaca that a good breeding program waits for and then places on the "Never to be Sold" list as a springboard to their next level. It would take pages to list the attributes of her different ancestors; her parents alone combined share ten championships and Symphony to date has garnered Two Color Championships and 1 Reserve CC. With grandsires the likes of Bueno, Felix and Caligula, we are confident that there will be many more Championships in her future.
